Staffland Stages presents Chapter Two - Fretboards and Floorboards: Cajun/Country in Freetown

On Friday, Sept. 11 from 7-11pm., Warehouse 535 in Lafayette will host the next annual Staffland Stages concert benefiting the Christopher Stafford Memorial Foundation. This concert will celebrate the Cajun and country sounds that helped define Lafayette's rich musical heritage.

Closing out the night will be The Weary Boys, Lafayette's favorite Austin band, bringing their signature rowdy country-rock energy to Freetown. Like an old Friday night at the Blue Moon, they'll have dancers on their feet and the room rocking until the final note.

The Revelers will reunite with original band member Chas Justus. Their honky-tonk-inspired set will pay tribute to Chris and the Downtown Lafayette music scene they helped shape together.

Opening the evening, Feufollet reunites for a special performance featuring Kelli Jones, Mike Stafford, Andrew Toups, Philippe Billeaudeaux, and other past members performing songs from the band's celebrated repertoire. The set tips its hat to the Cajun-country traditions Chris loved, joined by special guests including Sabra Guzmán, Gary Newman, Elise Riley & more surprises thrown in. .

Join Chris' friends, family, bandmates, and the Lafayette music community in celebrating his light and legacy. This fundraiser supports the Christopher Stafford Memorial Foundation and its mission to assist local musicians and artists.
